Business Change Manager (Refurbishment, Conservation, Construction, Capital Projects) Our client, a large government organisation based in London are looking to on-board a Business Change Manager. The role is a fixed term contract, initially for 18 months, however, there is a strong chance this will go permanent. Main Responsibilities: Work with colleagues and departments to develop and implement an accommodation change management strategy, benefits management strategy and stakeholder management strategy to ensure successful delivery of the programme. Assess management information reports to identify risks and issues and brief the Programme Director and key stakeholders on any major implications for the programme. Lead, manage and monitor stakeholder engagement in the Programme. Work closely with the Senior Communications Officer to ensure effective communication and keep key stakeholders up to date with progress, issues and developments on the programme. Develop a Programme blueprint that sets out the change required to move from the as is' to the final organisational state (to be). Lead and manage the Equality Analyses (EA) process by considering the impact of programme activities on different equality groups. Change Management/Interventions and benefits realisation. Essential Skills: Demonstrable knowledge of Change Management theory and practice, with evidence of having applied it successfully in complex programmes An ability to oversee and engage proactively with colleagues, experts and all stakeholders within the Programme in order to develop appropriate approaches to change that are consistent with the Programme' needs Ability to plan and deliver high quality work against tight deadlines in a challenging, fast-paced and complex environment Well-developed communications skills, with the ability to persuade and influence orally and in writing Experience of programme/project management and delivery, and knowledge of the following: planning, status reporting, risk management, stakeholder management, resource planning, blueprint development and quality assurance Experience of Benefits Management, including the identification of the benefits at different levels and the tracking, documentation and realisation of those benefits A good understanding of managing business processes to make sure the Programme delivers outputs that meet stakeholders' needs, and organisational and legal requirements. Project Management Qualification (foundation level).
