Job title: Lead Business AnalystCorporate title: Vice President/Assistant Vice PresidentDivision: TechnologyLocation: LondonOverview:Your role is an opportunity for a highly motivated, independent thinking individual to take a Lead Business Analyst role in a global team of Front Office facing technology specialists. Your position is within Fixed Income Technology facing off to the Liquid Asset Finance (LAF) business.The LAF business is a global business within Global Credit Trading and is primarily involved in the trading of Repos, Reverse Repos, Total Return Swap (TRS), Bond and Loans. Historically the business sat within Global Liquidity Management and shares many of the common technology platforms with that business.The role would suit someone who: is keen to work directly with a Front Office Trading desk; would like to gain broader experience of how a significant trading business operates front to back; is motivated by hitting strict deadlines and able to work with multiple different business, Information Technology (IT) and Operational Stakeholders.This is not a role suitable for a Project Management Officer (PMO) or project manager. It requires hands-on business analysis and direct accountability.Key Responsibilities:Establishing successfully delivering a remediation plan to close multiple technology related audit items identified against the LAF business as part of a recent internal audit.Working closely with Front Office trading directly to gather and document business requirementsPreparing and executing test cases and supporting user acceptance testingWorking closely with internal audit to ensure all proposed solutions meet their requirementsBeing responsible for delivering Front Office driven book of work to deliver which includes improvements to risk management and transaction life cycle functionsSkills & Qualifications:Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsProven ability to manage relationships with key business, infrastructure and operations StakeholdersFixed Income cash product experience, knowledge of Repos (beneficial)Previous knowledge of trade booking and processing change projects (beneficial)Proven ability to create project reporting documents for Stakeholder communications on status and to identify key decision points/dependenciesAbility to understand complex business requirements, articulate them effectively and influence solution designAbility to identify, interpret and document Stakeholders needs and requirementsKnowledge and experience of standard business analysis methods and tools (eg JAMA, JIRA)Strong problem solving abilityDemonstrable ability to thrive within a dynamic, fast paced environment with short delivery cycles and rapidly evolving requirementsDesire to learn new content and understand the audit issues so as to enable effective challenge of design effectiveness and suitabilityHigh degree of accountability and the ability to work independentlyDeutsche Bank is an equal opportunity employer who seeks to recruit and appoint the best available person for a job regardless of marital/civil partnership status, sex (including pregnancy), age, religion, belief, race, nationality and ethnic or national origin, colour, sexual orientation or disability.Please let us know if you require any adjustments to enable you to apply or attend an interview.
