An opportunity has arisen for a Vendor Manager to join our client, an established Investment Management firm based in London City.Responsibilities of the role will include:*Working with the senior business leads to agree the market data budget*Working with Finance to gather market data budget and contract information for monthly MI reports*Provide forward-looking planning and analysis for up-coming contract renewals or upgrades, ensuring business leads are consulted and give input to future changes. Analyse and report on market data budget to identify potential savings*Maintaining and developing relationships with market data vendors*Working with the regional Managers, Vendor Management, to ensure that market data contracts benefit from the global nature of the business and also the wider bank spend with vendors*Responsible for the relationship with the banks central procurement process and teams*Working closely with the Managers, Vendor Management in each of the regions to ensure alignment of process and also partnering with the banks central procurement process and teams The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes/skills:*Previous experience in a similar role, within an asset manager or third part administrator*Organised, methodical with close attention to detail*Good awareness of market data management and the relevant vendors*Good awareness of supplier management/governance*A good knowledge of market data content, applications and service licensing concepts*Good negotiating skills*Strong command of MS Excel *Good awareness of the Financial Service Industry*Experience with invoice reconciliation and budget maintenance.*Good interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to interact with senior management*Ability to maintain a high level of delivery focussed commitment*Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with a willingness to get involved and take action on issues when necessaryIf you possess these skills and are looking for a new and exciting opportunity, please apply via the email provided.Randstad Financial & Professional encourage applications from individuals of all ages & backgrounds.
