Complaints & Data Protection Case Coordinator 📁\n\nWe are urgently recruiting for a Complaints & Data Protection Case Coordinator to join a friendly and supportive Business Support & Compliance Team on a temporary basis (initially 6 months, with strong potential to extend).\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys varied, meaningful casework where you can genuinely make an impact ✨. You will be responsible for managing Complaints and Subject Access Requests (SARs) from start to finish, ensuring each case is handled accurately, professionally, and in line with strict legal and regulatory requirements.\n\nYou'll take ownership of your own caseload, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure responses are completed within statutory deadlines. This is a busy, structured and rewarding role where no two cases are the same.\n\nKey Details\n\nJob Title: Complaints & Data Protection Case Coordinator\nContract: Temporary (6 months initially, likely to be extended)\nStart Date: ⚡ Immediate start required\nSalary: £28,182 - £32,881 (DOE)\nHours: Full-time or part-time, lMonday-Friday (flexible working available)\nWorking Model: Hybrid working available OR fully remote option available 🏡Key Responsibilities\n\nManage Complaints and SARs from receipt through to full resolution\nLog, acknowledge, track and monitor all cases in line with statutory deadlines\nAct as a key point of contact for queries relating to complaints and SARs\nComplete identity checks, information gathering, and SAR case preparation\nCollate and review documentation for disclosure, including basic redaction support\nSupport the investigation and resolution of complaints in line with internal processes\nLiaise with internal departments to obtain required information within deadlines\nMaintain accurate, complete and auditable case records using internal systems\nDraft professional correspondence including acknowledgements, updates, and outcomes\nEscalate risks, delays, and complex cases appropriately\nEnsure full compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018\nSupport reporting on case volumes, trends, and performance 📊\nContribute to identifying recurring issues and continuous improvement opportunitiesWhat We're Looking For\n\nExperience in an administrative, complaints, or case management environment\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines\nExcellent attention to detail, particularly when handling sensitive information\nConfident communication skills (written and verbal) 💬\nGood IT skills including Microsoft Office and case management systems\nUnderstanding of confidentiality, GDPR, and data protection principles\nAbility to take ownership of cases and work independently\nProactive, professional, and solution-focused approachImportant Information\n\nThis is an urgent requirement - immediate availability is essential ⚠️\nWe are unable to provide individual feedback at application stage due to high application volumes\nWe are committed to ensuring reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process and in the workplace 🤝 \n\nOffice Angels is an employment agency and business.
