This people-focused practice prides itself on delivering high-quality advice and services that enable clients to manage their businesses and personal financial affairs efficiently, while maximising tax planning opportunities.\n\nThe firm works closely with business owners and directors at all stages of their journey – from start-up and growth through to succession and exit strategies – while also advising on personal financial and tax planning to provide long-term security and peace of mind.\n\nAs a key member of the tax team, the Corporate Tax Senior Manager will lead the corporate tax compliance service, manage the corporate tax team, and deliver a wide range of advisory projects.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOversee and coordinate the preparation of corporate tax returns, alongside other compliance processes such as ATED, ERS, EMI, and EIS.\n\nReview corporate tax computations prepared by junior team members.\n\nSupervise, mentor, and support the development of junior staff across both the tax team and wider practice.\n\nDeliver assignments such as corporate restructuring, share scheme design and implementation, tax clearances, transfer pricing reviews, CIR calculations, PAYE reviews, tax due diligence, technical queries, and R&D claims.\n\nRequirements\n\nCTA or ACA/ACCA qualified.\n\nStrong corporate tax experience.\n\nAlignment with the firm’s values.\n\nExperience managing a client portfolio.\n\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in corporate tax within practice.\n\nLine management and proven staff development experience.\n\nAdvisory and tax planning exposure, with an understanding of personal tax and IHT in business structures.\n\nWorking knowledge of VAT and PAYE.\n\nBenefits\n\nSalary Circa £70,000 - £85,000 per annum.\n\nFlexible and hybrid working arrangements.\n\nGenerous holiday allowance (with the option to buy/sell days).\n\nPrivate medical insurance and wellbeing support.\n\nPension scheme with employer contributions.\n\nLife assurance and income protection.\n\nProfessional subscriptions paid and full support for continued learning and development.\n\nRegular social events and community involvement initiatives.\n\nPlease contact Joe Potter on (phone number removed) (tel), (phone number removed) (mob), , or via  for a confidential conversation. \n\nRefer a friend...\n\nWe’re keen to remain the leading provider of the best accountancy talent in the South-East.
