Multi Skilled Engineer

TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer to join our client’s operations team, responsible for mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance at a site based in North West London\n\n * Competitive Salary – Up to £44,000 per annum, depending on experience\n\n * 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays\n\n * Enhanced overtime rates for additional earnings\n\n * Annual bonus (up to 4%) - subject to performance (historically paid out)\n\nAs Multi Skilled Shift Engineer, you will:\n\n * Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) using Ostara\n\n * Respond promptly to building alarms (via helpdesk or BMS) and escalating where required\n\n * Manage reactive maintenance tasks via CAFM system and meet SLA targets\n\n * Liaise closely with Supervisor, technical admin, and service delivery teams.\n\n * Escort/coordinate subcontractors during maintenance visits.\n\n * Participate in minor engineering projects and reactive maintenance.\n\nWorking hours / Shift pattern:\n\n * 6am to 6pm OR 7am to 7pm (to be agreed by the Manager)\n\n * 42 hours per week\n\n * 4 on / 6 off / 4 on / 4 off / 6 on\n\n * Call out 1-in 5 (only for emergencies)\n\nBenefits\n\n * Matched pension contributions (5–6%)\n\n * Annual bonus (up to 4%)\n\n * Life assurance\n\n * Access to our industry-leading training academy\n\n * Discounts, vouchers, and financial aid programs\n\nRequirements\n\n * Time‑served in Electrical or Mechanical or Fabric disciplines (minimum 3 years)\n\n * City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical discipline\n\nDesirable:\n\n * City & Guilds Part 3 or NVQ Level 2\n\n * 2391 Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations\n\n * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations\n\nTXM Recruit is an equal opportunities employer.
